February 19, 2007, HH Sheikh Hasher Al Maktoum, Director General
of the Dubai Information Department and U.S. Consul General Paul
Sutphin inaugurated the largest USA Pavilion ever, at Gulfood
2007, with a total of 71 exhibitors of which 25 were exhibiting
for the first time occupying 1,065 square meters.
U.S.
companies promoted a variety of meats and poultry, seafood, beans,
peas, lentils, rice, health products, and a wide range of grocery
products.
